DUE DATE FOR BUSINESS REGISTRATION: 

2010/2011 FINANCIAL YEAR

All business owners in Henties Bay are reminded to renew their business licenses and pay the prescribed fee for registration certificates before or on 31 March 2010 for the new financial year 2010/2011.

A late registration fee of 20% per annum shall be charged in addition to the registration fee in respect of each renewal made after the due date. 

In terms of the provision of the General Health Regulations 121 of 14/10/1969 as amended, any bushiness operating within the municipal area must be registered.  Hence it is the responsibility of every individual to comply with the legal requirements and to avoid setbacks.

A registration certificate is valid from the date issued until:

The business is relocated to another premises
The nature of the business conducted on such premise is changed in any way
The business is closed down
The expiry date on the certificate, which is 31 March, 2011.

Registration fees (VAT included)
Turnover up to N$50,000 per annum:  N$205.47
Turnover above N$50,000 per annum: N$410.97
